  1. Men will be expected to perform:

    29 push-ups in 60 seconds

    38 sit-ups in 60 seconds

Run 1.5 miles in under 12:51

    Sit and Reach 16.50"

    Complete a swim circuit

    Tread water for 5 minutes

Jump off a 5-foot platform and swim 100 meters

You will do some on a daily basis, but you will be in class learning even more.

  2. I'm not sure about how much it is on a daily basis but in one min. you have to be able to do 29 pushups & 38 sit ups. You'll have to run 1.5 Miles in 12:51 i think. be able to tread water for 5 min. Be able to swim really well. I know that in the 4th week there is a day that is really hard PT excersizes that is about 3-4 hrs long. The 7th week in your PT exam.

  3. Well,it has been 20 years since I was there. I can tell you that they will get you in shape quickley. If you can run 2 miles and do 50 to 100 push ups before you go, you will be that much better off than most. You will far exceed these minimum suggestions by the time you get out however.

By the way. The CG was the best thing I ever did for my life. It gave me a great start into the Law Enforcement career that I was after. Learned lots of good stuff and served at some great stations with some very good people. Good luck and don't worry to much about the physical aspect. They will get you in shape quick.
