Question:

Running in the morning

If i were to wake up at 6 in the morning, not eat anything, drink water, stretch, run 2 miles, and go back to sleep. Would that affect me in any way?

Also i have been running for 2 months im not just starting off the bat

  1. The only thing I would recommend is eating a little prior to your run and a little bit after.  Because you are exercising after a long time since your last meal, there is a chance that your body may be tricked into believing that it is in starvation mode and your metabolism will slow and you may end up burning lean muscle.  That is one of the reasons why breakfast is so important (you are breaking your fast). Post exercise eating helps repair muscle and reduce soreness.

  2. I actually do something really similar

    I wake up around 8, have some water ( no food) , stretch, run for about 45 minutes, stretch again, then finsih the workout with a shower and a light breakfast

    I've lost several pounds already, mostly fat
