So in my shedule I should of ran 7 miles yesturday, but pushed it back to give my legs a little more time to recover from the Saturday run as my calves were a little sore still. Problem is today its raining like a...well you know what I mean.

Should I still run in the rain or put it off again and risk falling behind in my schedule further?

  1. RUNNING IN RAIN CAN JUST MAKE YOU A MORE BETTER RUNNER. JUST THINK IF YOU DON'T TRAIN TODAY  THAT WILL AFFECT YOUR RACE AND WHILE YOUR WATCHING YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOW HES OUT THERE BUST HIS BUT GETTING SOAKED AND BECOMING BETTER THAN YOU SO RUN AS YOUR SCHEDULE AND IF IT SNOWS RAINS IF THERE'S A HURRICANE AND MUCH MORE THAT ONE DAY CAN CAUSED YOU  YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  2. running in the rain can be fairly refreshing, and you dont feel yourself sweating

but for a tip on the soreness in your calf, stretch it out, or just jog it out in some cases, running makes the pain go away, but the pain is probably because your really not used to the running, or you didnt stretch before AND after your run.

but if you run every dya, make sure you at least take ONE day off per week

    have fun!

You'll be glad that you ran....plus you won't fall so far behind.

  4. No! Go for it! Running in the rain is awesome. It's so refreshing and fun. Just watch out for lightning...

  5. Running in the rain can be a great run.  I love running in a nice warm rain, nothing like that at all.  So run in the rain by all means, the only time you need to really be concerned is in a lighting storm.

As an instructor I once got asked, what do we do when it rains outside.  My reply, “We get wet”.

  6. I love running in the rain! I go in the woods and wear appropriate clothing (running rain jacket, waterproof shoes...) and it's fun and I hardly get wet!
