how long do you reccomend a person should be running each week day?

  1. If you are looking for cardiovascular fitness you should run for about 20 minutes at least 3 to 5 times each week.

    If you are looking for some other benefit you can adjust your mileage and number of days accordingly.


  2. On Mondays, run 5 or six miles.

    Take Tuesdays off.

    On Wednesday, Run 3 or 4.

    Take Thursday off.

    On Friday take it easy and run 2 miles.

    On Saturday run 20 to 30 minutes.

    On Sunday, run for an hour.

    That is what I do and my personal record for the mile is 5:25

    If you get tired, just walk, even if you have to walk the whole thing. I still can't run a whole 6 miles.
