Running mile tomorrow any tips?

i need to get a better time i am not really in shape and i am overweight the biggest problems i have is leg aches and i don't know what the right way to breathe while running any tips to help me?

  1. Ok the leg cramps aren't neccesarily from breathing but it may be, try stretching before and after running, eating bananas half an hour before running and as for the breathing part, its kinda of a slow procces because when it comes to running, its really important to develope a rythem for breathing. At first you may breathe really fast and hard but u need to break that habbit even though it may be hard, but it doesn't matter if ur a sprinter, but for distance u need to learn how to take long deep breathes and keep that rythem the whole time ur running.
