  1. No, there's no safe way to do it. It seems logical to me because the excitement of running in Pamplona is exactly that: you may be hurt by a bull. Of course, there are some tips you need to take into account: if you're fit, if you can run fast, if the pavement is wet or not, if you're drunk or you've had drugs, etc...

You don't have to pay any fee. And finally, don't try to start near the end because then you can be hurt by the crowd of people running on the same direction as you. Anyway, Pamplona's festivities are great and you'll have a lot of fun there if you run or if you don't...

  2. You don't have to pay, but you shouldn't participate if you don't really know what you're doing. Luck plays a big role, but so does knowing the streets, the history of where people were caught by bulls before, how to react on each part of the race, etc.

Haven't you noticed that most of the people who are hospitalized after running are not from Spain? Be careful. Be safe. Enjoy life.

  3. Safe? way? come on, do it like a man.
