  1. There's your problem; your home-made fuel mixture has too high a gelling point.

You need to install a separate heated fuel system for the WVO.  This will have its own fuel line run inside a coolant line (so the WVO stays hot all the way to the injector pump) and a coolant coil inside the tank.  Valve gear will let you start on petroleum diesel and switch to 100% WVO once the engine (and fuel line) is hot.  You must switch back before shutting the engine off, because the WVO must not be allowed to gel inside the injector lines or your engine will start poorly or not at all.

  2. maybe the same additive used in diesel fuel for winter (in areas like Montana and other northern states (if you are from the US)...?  Help keep the fuel/oil from jelling

  3. Try the above or use an electrical heating tape with a thermostatic control to keep the pump and line warm.  You may have to plug the car in at night to keep the battery from running down.  When starting in a parking lot it may take a couple of minutes to warm the lines by battery power.

  4. oh yes!!! try adding a little petrol to the mix in winter time or use a lesser mix. alternatively you can fabricate a new tank for the underside. somewhere between chassis members would be good then re- route the cooling system through the new tank. once this is done you can use one tank for diesel only and other for oil. start and stop car on diesel and just switch over when car is running at normal temp. this should warm the oil enough to stop any probs and helps oil ignite a little quicker. hope this helps. more info you can email.

  5. Add one cap of petrol to one gallon of deisel, thins and helps compustion.

  6. Add a splash of White Spirit
