Running on the beach?

will running on the dry sand give me bulky legs?

i know low resistance, high repetition makes you leaner and high resistance, low repetition makes you bulkier ...but i can't tell which catagory it is and i really don't want huge legs... lol.

  1. it is a good workout. i run on the beach when my coach makes us but we run on huge sand hills. its horrible. its hard enough running on sand and hills separately, but together it is super hard. i have muscular legs but i am still like a size 2 or 3 and i am 5ft 5in 130lbs if that helps.


  2. Its very hard to get bulky legs doing anything. I doubt your workouts would even approach the realm of bulky

  3. Running on the beach will make your legs bulk up. Another plus about running on the beach is that it teaches you to keep your knees up so you wont drag your feet as much and therefore run faster.
