Running out of motivation pleas help?

how do i motivate my self to running every morning it hasn't been a problem in the past but now i cant seem to go do it

  1. Hello,

    That's a tough and very honest question.  I've been running for 20+ years and multuiple marathons and I still have motivation issues getting out of bed.  The secret:  just get out of bed & do it.  Motivation builds momentum with action.  Keep at it and you'll see.  See the link below for some more inspiration.  Best of luck!

  2. What i do is grab like a cd player and play music it's fun and makes want to forget your even running

  3. I run into the same problem, what I do is this:

    Buy new gear - For some reason Im always excited to run in new shoes, clothes, supplements, etc...

    Sign up for a race - If I know I have a long race coming up, it forces me to go out and train for it. Go to www.active.com

    Look at yourself - Look at your self naked in the mirror, we are our worst critics.

    just remember that .....just think about what you desire and think that if run you'll get that thing that you've been waiting for so long ............

  5. Depends on what you're doing it for. If you're doing it to lose weight, keep setting goals. Tell yourself you need to reach *** lb's, and then once you reach that, set another goal. If it's just to stay fit and stay active, then scale back a bit. If you run for 45 minutes a day, then start running for 20, and set a goal to reach 25 a day, then 30 and so on.

    If you want to be motivated, you MUST have goals.
