I am a ninth grade boy who ran a 2:19 800m last year, and I was able to get my time down to a 2:06 this year. Do you think I have any chance to run a 1:57 my senior year and go all-state?

  1. You can do it and probably faster if you put your mind to and run cross country and indoor track

  2. I think you can do it!!!

  3. thats easily plausible...i know a guy, who going into districts his sr year, was seeded at 2:03, which was good for like 5th place...he ended up running a 1:58, was district champion, and made states...i wouldnt be surprised if you ended up going a lil faster than that even...thats a really good time, keep workin hard, and you'll get it no problem

  4. good job freshman.... I'm a runner also.... except I'm a sophomore... i usually run 56.4 300m and 59.2 400m and the times still going down.....

........................... so u can do it,....... just dont get lazy over the summer, fall, winter or spring... lol

  5. You can just continue training hard . ( Try uphill repeats for leg strength .
