hi, i'm from arizona, and right now i'm visiting my grandpa in pennsylvania and i ran for awhile while i was living in arizona and it was fine, but now that i'm in pennsylvania it seems so much harder to run. why is this? could it be because of the humidity here and the lack of humidity in arizona? or because it's cold? or what? please answer this, and maybe could you give me some tips on how i can improve my running and endurance. thank you :)

  1. terrain, and other environmental/land reasons

  2. Both the cold and humidity can greatly affect your running performance. Try a slower pace, but keep the distance the same.

    Your fellow crippled runner...

  3. it's probably because of not being used to the humidity or ur just outta shape... either way start slow with less mileage then when ur used to the conditions run a bit more

  4. It's probably from the humidity and temp. Slow down the pace a little and you'll be fine. To work on endurance, try some long slow runs (5 or more miles). Don't go all out, they should be easy.
