  1. the tortoise..he has a big head in that shell.

  2. Tortoise will win

  3. Afterall he can't run.  how can he win.  i am the fast runner.  it is impossible for him to win.   He is slow. so, fast and hasty decisions never yield good results.   we should not weigh others on their nature of the body.  The tortoise is slow is true, but steady.

hence, slow and steady wins the race.

some of us are doing miscalculations and someone taking a hasty decisions without knowing the pros and cons.  Hence, one should not think that he is the one capable of doing anything,  but there are people more capable than us.

The rabbit in this thinking took rest in the tree shadow.  The tortoise moved slowly and reached the winning point.

  4. Depends on the race.

I'm training for a marathon, and I read that even the fastest sprinter in the world couldn't beat the slowest marathon runner over 26.2 miles, just because their muscles are trained for different tasks.

To get at your deeper meaning, I think that life is more like a marathon than a series of sprints, so the proverbial "tortoise," who is stable and can pace himself, is better off.

  5. According to MSNBC the rabbit is awaiting trial on the steroid scandal and the tortoise has been caught in the bathroom soliciting s*x. At this point it's any one's game.

  6. The tortoise takes the slow, methodical approach to overcoming obstacles.  The rabbit is overconfident and trips up because of this.

I guess it also depends on how you define "race."  A race that is short and limited in scope will be won by the rabbit every time.  But is life so simple?
