Running races - Do only the good runners race timed races (which cost more)? I don't wanna come in last..?

I was registering online for the Komen Race for the Cure coming up and I would like to run a timed race so I can know what I got compared to others and what rank I got and know the exact time, but I was just wondering, if perhaps only the good racers run timed and that I might just come in last cuz I don't suck completely, but I definitely suck a lot more than those pro runners.

The komen race that I did had over 800 entries for the running race.  Most were not elite runners.  You'll do fine.

id really doubt that youd finish last in any type of road race. many people just sign up and walk or combine walking/jogging to finish. if you can run at a good pace the entire time youll defintely beat some people.
