Running smoker?

i run 5.6 km ,5 to 6 times a week on the treadmill at the speeds of 10 to 14.its usually fun but today i felt really breathless and puky after running .i also felt dizzy and felt like i was going to faint or die .could barely move and lay on the floor of the ladies room in my gym for 20 minutes after the run.i smoke regularly but the smoking has never caused trouble before .do you think it was the smoking?im 26.

  2. yes. smoking is extremely bad for your lungs and can lead to cancer

  3. Try and give up the smoking and you will be a much better runner!!!!

  4. if you are used to doing these distance runs while smoking, and this is the first time youve experienced something like this, then it is probably not directly a result of smoking. it might have been a lack of fluid or carbs in your system before you started the run. your body might have been low on energy prior to the run from lack of sleep or from doing other chores in the day. obviously smoking hinders your body's ability to get over these scenarios, but something else was the main reason you felt like you did today.
