Running the 100m?

Okayy im doing the 100m for my sports day on the 4th july

I know its not really that important .. but i really want to do well in it

Is there anything i should eat or do before the race ??

We have been practicin the 100m every thursday for about 2 weeks ...

Should i keep doing this or should i stop?

  1. ok, i was in track and even though i never ran (im a thrower) i did pay attention to our runners. if you want to do well, i suggest you not drink any pop until then. and maybe do like 10 sprints each day down you sidewalk. since its not that important to you i dont think you have to worry about it. good luck

Make sure warm up properly, stretch good, making sure that your muscles are loose and the heart is pumping, wear something to keep you warm (not hot) just enough to have you sweating a lil or warm temperature, eating a half of a banana or protien bars for extra energy before race. Don't drink too much liquids before your event, it might weigh you down or cause a cramp in your side.
