I'm going to start running but I need tips on how to make my running last longer, Lets see, How long should I run for to burn weight? I way 154 and i'm 5'7 I never run before, well I have but not often. I wonder if I get tired of running and I breathe to hard should I rest and wait to get my Breath back then go running again? Other thing I know its silly but in Horror movies how do the survivals last long on running, If that was to happen is it possible? The heroines always seem skinny but they never seem to look like a Track star. Know what I mean? Is that Possible?

  1. Yo,

I tried doing this, I would wake up around 4:30 AM and go run 3 miles. I was slow, sluggish, not losing weight, and not improvingat running, so I did some research. When I looked it up I realized that in the morning, you're body is in starvation mode, and will use muscle as fuel rather than fat. This morning workout, done with a proper diet, will bring about slightly positive results at best. So I fixed my diet and started running at night and was up to 7 miles a day within a week.

If you do some running later in the day to gain muscle and endurance for a while, then can start running in the morning, you will be able to do it without much trouble and go a few miles without feeling bad.

    Good luck, have fun!

  2. first make sure you are eating carbs for energy, (pasta, bread, etc.) when i get tired i walk quickly to keep my heart rate up and continue to burn calories, another thing you could try when you get tired is to stop and stretch for a few minutes.  When I first started running it was very hard and i quickly lost my breath, when i began running with other people i was able to go a little bit farther so i'm assuming I needed help pasing myself, so you could trying running with a friend. try setting a distance for yourself to go everyday and do training also.  for example run 1 mile, strech, run another 2. the next day run 1 mile, strech, and go short distances as fast as you can.  your body will hurt but the more you push the easier it will get,  good luck!
