Running to gain improve Stamina?

Hows it going Ive been running twice a week for 2 weeks now around my neighberhood to improve my stamina. Currently I just run until I feel like I cany run anymore then walk and run somemore I can go about a mile and a half without stopping. I know this is better then nothing but is starting and stopping the right way to improve my stamina. I play soccer 3 times a week so I get alot of running while I play. I wanted to know what is the best way or routine to improve my stamina.

  1. Run everyday and it will help

    and soccer does help stamina cuz your running or jogging nonstop


  2. I believe the best way to improve your running is to run more often like in the morning or at night and start at a light jog and work your way up
