  2. Yes because it really works out your legs and even your arms, because you swing them as you run. Also, running will give you muscle, so you'll be able to eat more calories and not gain weight. Don't expect results immediately, because I've only been running for about 3 weeks, and the results are finally beginning to show:

    In the first week, I lost a little weight, not too much.

    In the second week, I kind of stopped losing weight, but I could feel myself gaining muscles.

    And, in the third week, I'm finally starting to steadily lose weight, and I feel great! :D

  5. I was close to 22% body fat when I first started running, by the end of my first year I lost 40 lbs and was down to almost 7% body fat, my doctor told me I needed to eat more. So the answer to your question is yes.

    However my running was long distance endurance runs, I would run up to 40-50 miles a week.

  6. yeah definitely - it'll strengthen your leg muscles, and it burns loads of calories.
