Hi - what's the point...

does it really tone up your arms or increase your endurance..

  1. Overrated.  Serious endurance runners never do it. It's an un-natural strain on the body.


  2. just stand with ur legs shoulder length apart and pretent to run. dont move ur legs. running in place.  u ight hit urself with the weight if u actually run. i did it  for a min.

  3. Don't do it! It's just not a good idea. No professional runners do it. They won't tone up your arms either. If you want to increase tone, either increase muscle size or decrease body fat. If you use weight curling, your arms will get more toned, You must actually increase weight or else your arms won't really get bigger. It will have no good effects on your running endurance, any weight you can actually run and pump your arms with will be too little to improve your training (that doesn't mean you should use ankle weights either!) In conclusion, no, it's pointless.
