  1. if you don't already you could run every day then write down your

    times

And try and beat those times

and  see if you gradually get faster

  2. intervals all day long and weight cutting

  3. run with a wind resistant cape

it catches the wind giving you more resistance so when you take it off your fster and stronger

  4. If you're a distance runner, the most simple thing to do is run more.  If you're not used to putting on lots of distance, you could start running 2 miles per day.  The runs will gradually get easier, and you will be able to run faster for longer amounts of time.

If you're a sprinter, you won't need to put on as much distance, but you should do interval and repeat training, and form will be very important.  Weights are also helpful.

  5. Run hard.

    Be strong.

    Think Big.

  6. My cousin bought the Nike's that use the Ipod with them. he says the training mode (with Lance Armstrong) helped his times a ton. You could also search for other motivational recordings (with a coach or personal trainer) to listen to while you run. Use a stop watch and get your time for your normal route at your normal running pace, and try to beat your record time every day. Also, if you extend your work out after the timed portion of the run, your increased distance training will help your endurance and speed.

  7. Keep running, and have a sandbag on your ankle.

  8. Buy some rebook pumps.

  9. Push yourself.

  10. Push yourself harder when you run, do some weight training (more if you're a sprinter, less if you're a distance runner), and keep on a healthy diet high in protein.  Then learn the basics of carbohydrate loading for competition.

Aqua training can be very helpful, too.  Get into a pool and run while you're in the water.  It may sound dumb, but it really makes your muscles work harder to do the exact same motions.

Also, technique and body mechanics have a lot to do with running.  Are you looking for faster sprint times, or faster long distance times?  Be conscious of how you're moving your entire body and try to maximize every movement that your body makes, from the length of your stride, to the timing and force of your foot kicks.

If you're not sure how to do this, join a competitive running e-group.  You'll not only be able to pick the brains of other people who love the same thing you do, but you might even find yourself a running partner.

  11. it depends what you run long distance or sprints

  12. Drink lots of Gatorade.
