Runs but makes a super load pop sound with flame

Question

Our microwave runs but made a super load pop sound with a flame in the vent above the LCD display. I immediately stopped cooking, but when we tried to cook again the pop and flame came again. Haven't tried again. Is it worth repairing or does this sound like we need a replacement.
