  1. Oro is just Kenshin's way of expressing  his confusion.

    There are 28 volumes.

  2. Basically it's his way of saying "huh?" or "what?"

  3. Nope. The creator just made it up. But it's based on an actual japanese expression.

"Along the series, Kenshin uses the quote "oro", which expresses surprise or dismay, based on the similar exclamation "ara" (generally considered feminine). As proper Japanese vocabulary, "oro" only exists as a word for lochia. In the English dub, "oro" has been translated into "huh". "Oro" is kept intact in the Viz manga"

    there are 28 volumes

  4. His expression 'oro' doesn't mean anything. Its basically like 'dattebayo' from Naruto. And there are 28 volumes of Rurouni Kenshin.

I loved Kenshin too! Definitely keep reading it gets way better!

    Hope this helps!
