Rushmoor Andy likely to thrive in Heros Race
Rushmoor Andy is likely to propel a mammoth upset by winning The Phoenix Backing Our Heros Race that will be held at Sheffield racecourse tonight, May 15. The Open Race over a distance of 280 metres is scheduled to start at 19:42 (GMT).
The P. Rosney-trained black dog is quite confident to face five worthy rivals such as Demesne Loopy, Farloe Barracuda, Bowtime Honcho, Bachelor Duke and Power Charge.
The dashing dog gained a lot of momentum and spirit by elegantly winning three big races in a row during the last month. Prior to this, the three-year-old veteran hound had accomplished a fabulous hat-trick during November-December 2011.
The way the brilliant hound performed last month put him in a favourable place in the betting market along with boosting his morale greatly.
At the moment, the talented son of Daves Mentor out of Pearls Palace is awash with winning impetus that will help him beat his rivals convincingly in the Heros Race.
Despite being a non-favourite runner, the maverick dog will carry the day convincingly. His chances to finish first are up to 90 percent provided he keeps his stamina intact on the track.
Among Rushmoor Andy’s competitors, Bowtime Honcho and Demesne Loopy look to be strong enough and each one of the duo will struggle well for success.
Bowtime Honcho elegantly finished first in his last outing on May 8. Earlier, the J. Sharp-trained black dog had bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs in the month of March. He will definitely unleash a decent run tonight, giving tough time to his opponents.
On the other hand, Demesne Loopy nicely gained two back-to-back victories along with two runner-up ranks during March-April 2012. The E. Parker-trained white and black b***h will also have a great time in the coming contest.
By and large, there will be a tough tug of war in the Heros Race with each of the hounds striving hard to thrive. However, Rushmoor Andy will carry the day in the end. The event will be fantastic to watch. Let us get ready for the fabulous action. Good luck to all the contestants.
