Rushmoor Tony gets the best odds for winning the Betfred Maiden Sprint Trophy
Rushmoor Tony has the best odds for winning the Betfred Maiden Sprint Trophy at Nottingham, England, on Monday, April 2, 2012. The 305 metres flat race has a prize money of £150 for the triumphant hound.
The Grade OR event, which will start at 20:04 (GMT), will see six runner battling for the top position.
Their names are as follows:
Rushmoor Tony,
Murlens Mossy,
Glass Half Full,
Home Charlie,
Isabellas Meako, and
Vatican Thor.
At the moment, Rushmoor Tony seems to be in a great position, as he has been in superb form over the past few months. His last run at Nottingham proved to be quite an exceptional one, as he did not allow any other hound come close.
T. Munslow’s trained dog was rated as favourite in that race and he did not disappoint the bookies. He gained the lead right from the start and no other runner was able to match his speed until the end of the race.
The black dog has been running quite regularly at Nottingham, thus the punters will have full faith in his abilities.
The favourite hound is the son of Crash out of Roaming Abbey and was born in May 2010.
Murlens Mossy, trained by C. Allsopp, is another hound capable of winning races at this level. He is new to the sport, but has been setting some impressive trial times at different venues.
The conditions at Nottingham will be new to him, thus the bettors will not be risking a lot of money in his favour.
The black and white dog is the son of Express Ego out of Murlens Madrid and was born in June 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Glass Half Full will also be the one to watch out for, as he is a decent runner.
He has been performing well recently and will give a tough time to his rivals.
P. White’s trainee is the son of Brett Lee out of Cabra Dancer and was born in September 2010.
Home Charlie, Isabellas Meako and Vatican Thor are the least favourite runners to win today. They will need some extra luck to challenge the rest of the pack in this race.
