Nigmatullin has blasted Spartak Moscow to appoint new head coach at Luzhniki stadium after parting company with the former Real Sociedad man
Former Anzhi Makhachkala goalkeeper, Ruslan Nigmatullin, has criticized Spartak Moscow to sack their head coach, Valery Karpin. The prolific shot-stopper is of the view that the Moscow-based club should have given him more
time before appointing Unai Emery.
Emery, who resigned as Valencia’s head coach earlier this month, has signed a three-year contract at Moscow after replacing Karpin at Luzhniki stadium. However, neither party has confirmed additional details of the agreement.
Karpin, who stepped down from the post of Chief Executive to take managerial role at Moscow following Michael Laudrup’s shocking departure in 2009, will now work as a general director at Luzhniki stadium.
