Russanda Clash confident to win Bonus Series Final
The E. Parker trained blue b***h, Russanda Clash, is quite confident of keeping her impressive record in A2 format intact by winning the Owners Bonus Series Final that will take place at Sheffield racecourse tonight, June 28.
The high-profile race over 500 metres is set to start at 13:27 (GMT).
The prize money of the race contains £500. The brilliant b***h has been winning with regular intervals, since the dawn of 2012.
On the very second day of the calendar year, she accomplished a grand victory in the Grade A2 race, while being sent as the 7 to 4 favourite.
The talented daughter of Black Shaw, out of Clash Quickstep, spurted away to win another A2 race on April 27. Her third and fourth A2 victories of the year came during the month of May.
After winning an Open race on June 5, the juvenile hound downed another victory on June 21. This was again an A2 contest that she won with the 9 to 4 favourite tag.
Thus, Russanda Clash seems to be in the most favourable position to make it to the top of the podium in tonight’s glorious Final.
After breaking from the orange box, she will surely demonstrate an offensive and audacious run to pave her way towards the finish line.
However, Westmore Kid will try hard to impede her. The N. Melbourne trained white and black dog has grabbed two victories in the two A2 races during the calendar year.
In the first race on June 8, the dashing dog was a joint-favourite, while on the second occasion on June 21, he won while being the red hot favourite.
Overall, the son of Deel Rover, out of Highgate Albion, has been doing well since the 2012 season began. It is expected that he will give tough time to Russanda Clash, and there is likely to be a fierce duel between the two.
Neutral Corner also looks to be a solid contender for the top position. The M. Wainwright trained black dog has not won any A2 race since January 2012, but he has accomplished a hat-trick, and two other consecutive triumphs in T2, T3, A3 and A4 formats.
