  1. Not sure, but I hope Georgia beats Russia in the medal count at the Beijing Olympics.

  2. Russia if you have to pick one.

If a chunk of georgia wants to break off and form its own country, let it.

Either way, its on the other side of the planet, so it is really none of our concern.

  3. Its none of our concern!!!!!

  4. Georgia, and if you ask me if we(U.S) put troops there russia will stop attacking, believe me, they don't want a war with us.

  5. Georgia, of course. It is their territory, not Russia's. Russia invaded Georgia, not the other way around.

There is much the US can do. It is a matter of whether or not NATO has the stomach to stand up to Putin. Don't count on that though. Most Europeans will bury their heads in the sand until it is too late. It is their nature and their legacy.

  6. People! American media is corrupted and paid by US government.Georgian president is crazy, he try to take over Ossetia killing Russian peacekeepers on his way.

If somebody don't know history, Ossetia was included in Soviet Union as part of Georgia, BUT before Soviets, Ossetia had independence.

After collapse of Soviet Union in 1991 Ossetia declared independence.

Now, when Saakashvili understood that Russian advance he like miserable coward started to cry and ask help from US. Russia protected THEIR people and will protect anyways.

It wasn't planed, military of the Caucasia just mobilized (in this region of Russia there is a lot of PRO military, it is very "difficult" region, near is Chechnya)

And Georgians completely destroyed and killed a lot of people in capital by weapon, called "Grad" (hail)

It's called GENOCIDE of the nation! I don't understand one thing, how can military execute this orders, they are not people, they aren't man!

  7. Southern Ossetia declared independence in 2006 away from Georgia, they want to be part of Russia and in effect are citizens of Russia, when Georgians killed Russian Peacekeepers it was war.

  8. It doesn't matter who is right. To be honest, none is right, on one hand Georgians shouldn't have killed Russians, but on the other hand, Russian invasion, bombing and full scale war is not the right answer... it's just the only thing they know to do, like over and over during history, with all their neighbours.

In the end, it matters who wins and writes the history books after, and that's Russia. The winner takes it all.

USA can do nothing, Russia has too many nukes, and Georgia is not worth the risk. And all western Europe depends on Russian gas, and they can't afford to lose it.
