Russia and the us at war.?

im only 14..

and i was wondering if we ( the us.) went to war with russia, people say we would be ******. that is prob true... we would be hit with the nuclear bombs and die.

Russia's military may be mighty, but all their hardware is half running. If you look at videos from the Chechnya and Georgia, their tanks are breaking down on the road and being pulled by other vehicles or donkies. They do not take care of their hardware like we do, and ours is much more advanced and well managed.

Also nuclear warheads have something called tritium in them, and every nine years tritium decomposes and the warheads won't work if the tritium is degraded, and most of Russia's tritium in their warheads are degraded making their nuclear arsenal less of a threat.

To put it short, we would kick their ***.

we might send aid to the outlining countries of russia, but i don't think it will grow beyond a low profile conflct between russia and small democratic countries. A more politicial war than a shooting war.  But if we ever went to war with russia im sure we'd kick some rusky @$$

The Russian Military is a joke compared to US standards. Their armor would be wiped out in a matter of days. They cannot protect their fleet, they have only one aircraft carrier that is not really an aircraft carrier, it is a cruiser with a jump ramp.

Russia knows that if missile defense goes in, their nuclear capabilities will be obsolete within a very few years. That is what this whole thing boils down to.

that is why the US let Russia invade georgia.The US didn't let Iraq invade Kuwait but they let Russia because they are scared of a war against Russia.So a war between US and Russia is unlikely because Russia only wants to conquer its neighbors and america will let them do it

No two countries with nuclear weapons would rush to use them in a conventional conflict.  Or at least not the US and Russia.  A real war between the US and Russia would most likely begin with standard conventional military battles.  Yes, we'd all be ****** if it went nuclear, but both countries know this.  I'm not a big fan of Putin, but I do no know he's smart enough to know the implications of nuclear war, and for those reasons he will avoid them as much as we do.

Russia has so much money to build up their military arsenal because they have oil. If we would have drilled 10 years ago when Clinton shut down drilling in ANWAR, the U.S. wouldn't have been so dependent on foreign oil. Russia wouldn't have had the means to begin rattling their sabers again. When Clinton was having Monica pleasure him in the Oval office, the winds of change were blowing in a direction that we will always pay a high price for.

What did Sec. Rice tell Russia? She told them they are not the Soviet Union of 1968 anymore. She meant that the U.S. would destroy Russia if they attempted to threaten us in any way.
