“I have some players who are tired, so we had to make adjustments. Some of the veteran players were tired. We didn't have the rhythm to play at this high level. We have a team with eight young players that don't have a lot of experience. We use a rotation
system. We will use experienced players in the next game,” mentioned Peru’s Coach Luca Cristofani in his post-match comments.
Russian mentor Sergey Ovchinnikov seemed totally satisfied with his team’s performance. He stated, “We didn't lose concentration and we played well every set and did our work. We are happy to be 4-0 and will try to get the victory in the next matches.”
