Russia invading the U.S.?

did anyone get the feeling while the u.s. is weak because of the war in iraq and russia conquering more land to make a bigger army that russia would ever attack the u.s. soon?

They won't attack us militarily, but they will try to bankrupt us.  The learned from OPEC that whoever controls the oil, IS the most powerful.  

If you think about it, the US never conquered any other major power, and confiscated their assets, to become the reigning superpower. They just out produced them economically.  

Worldwide, all the money is shifting to the countries with the oil, and with it goes the power.  Russia knows this, and is trying to corner the market on all the oil and gas reserves it can. Right now they can already strangle the gas supplies to all of Europe any time they want.  Over time, Russia's position will only get stronger. When the Middle East blows up, or runs dry, they win.

What Russia is doing is trying to gain control of most of the oil in the world.  Then the world, including us, is a slave to Russia.  It's possible I'd say.

Russia is NOT conquering more land. She moved her troops into S.Ossetia to protect its people from Georgians who are exterminating them, how is that taking land?

And why would Russia attack the US, theres is nothing there that Russia needs or wants.

And the oil c**p that people are saying, Russia has plenty of oil, she doesn't need more.

No.  Not Russia.  OPEC countries.  We are going broke giving them all our money for oil products, driving us into bankruptcy.  They will be able to come back and buy everything for pennies on the dollar, with our money.  Take over without firing a shot.

This is absolute BULLSHIT. Russia has never invaded anybody in the whole history of the country. They have only ever defended themselves. The only way something will happen is if somebody decides to start something. This stuff with Georgia right now is not exactly reported accurately.

Besides, there is a truce with Russia and the US. They are not enemy countries.
