Russia is talking of putting missiles aimed at Europe on its western boundaries and sending military officers to visit Cuba in a bizarre throwback to the missile crisis of 1962.

Has George Bush pushed things too far with his idea of missile shields in Europe and provoked Russia in to a t*t for tat response endangering all of us.

  1. Why not,Russia is now a stronger nation and has interests like any other nation too.

  2. Theirs been missiles pointed at Russia since the 50's and vise versa. Everyone knows the history of the communists and that why a missile shield was necessary in the region. Now that oil is at such a high price, the Russians have the money they need to start acting like the communists we all know from the cold war. The Fall of the Soviet Union was basically brought on by the price of oil falling to extremely low prices and breaking the Soviets. Therefore, now that the Russians are feeling a little better off, there also felling a little frisky. The best thing Bush can do is to get Congress back in to work on an energy plan to get the price of oil down but the Democrats don't want to have Obama vote on the issue because it would look bad for him either way he votes. Besides, the best offense is a good defense.

  3. I never did understand Bush's reason for the missile shield in Europe. I thought we were on our way to having a good political relationship with Russia until that stupid action. I guess ol' Georgie Boy can't stand to be in a world without contention and strife. What Russia is doing is nothing more that what would be reasonably expected in this situation.

Can anyone say "Cold War?" (again!)

  4. I can't wait for Bush to be out of office..not that the 2 we face now whould be any better.

He's made one mistake after another, stupid mistakes, putting all of us in danger. Now he's starting in Iran insisting their nuclear program is not for the intention they are saying..just like the WMD's in Iraq.

Yes, I feel he's putting us in danger if the Russians go back into Cuba, at that point they can use these missles to hit anywhere, Europe or with a "flick of a button" aim them at the USA!!

    Great question Misty!

  5. Yeah well this was bound to happen at some point, its arrogant of Bush to think he can point missiles towards any country and not face repercussions :)

  6. The Cuban missile crisis was sparked by the US putting missiles aimed at Russia in Turkey. Obviously the US hasn't learnt any lessons from history.

  7. firstly tie Missile's are aimed at America yes he has and and operatives in the USA will incite revolution and the south will be ethnically cleansed after this the USA will be renamed the U.D.S.A with the capital moved to Liberty City George Bush will be executed for war crimes and sentenced to death by firing squad at fort Carson this will be televised on Youtube the there will be a military coup in Britain prominent dissidents like peter hitchens will be hanged

  8. Hopefully. It would be nice to return to the cold war days when there were plenty of jobs and the economy was good.

  9. the sooner some one puts a bullet in bushs head the better

  10. Russia is just a backward country that cannot escape it's old ways - they will give up again when the bread ques get a mile long like last time!!
