ha - five Humvee.... and they lost how many tanks and not whine about it... they can keep them as souvenirs.

As far as I know, they were issued to Georgia - bought and paid for -  not ours any more...

Russia took five HumVees that were used by the Georgian army, so they weren't actually ours at the time.  Georgia fired on the Russian army and got their asses kicked between their shoulders for their stupidity.  I don't agree with the mainstream population about Russia being wrong in their conflict.  What I do disagree with them about, though, is their unwillingness to step back into the background again and become the peacekeepers they set out to be in Ossetia.

no why should it? they took them as spoils of war nothing wrong there. we have soviet tanks, and other military hardware here in America that was spoils of war, it's how it goes in war.

Nah, only 20 years ago the Soviet Union fell and we got a new world map as our spoils of war.

Let them keep the hummers.  We'll keep Poland, Czech Republic, and well a great deal of Eastern Europe on our side.
