Question:

Russia vs Eastern Europe?

Russia has directly threatened Poland and if they were to invade they would have to cross the borders of other countries. These countries have small Russian minorities (as does Georgia), so can we see a repeat of the Georgian conflict on a larger scale involving the Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania etc. . . with Russia carrying out its threat on Poland. And if this sort of war were to break out would the countries of Eastern Europe win, I personally believe Poland's army would put up a very tough fight.

  1. No singular Eastern Europe nation would be able to handle Russia on her own.

However, I have a strong suspicion that a new global attitude would compel many nations, acting under one authority, to come down extremely hard on Russia if it made such a move.

World War II is still very much remembered and no one wants a repeat of that.
