Russian /Georgian war.

Do you think that its going to be the same deal as Chechnya... where nobody really gave a sh***

Or once the "diplomats"have all had their say are "we" just going to forget about it... Or is this thing going to get out of hand ?

I say we... ie. the people who are not getting their lives blown to small pieces ?

I don;t think this war will go unnoticed.  Georgia is very important to Europe because of its oil and gas pipelines from Russia.  The other countries like Ukraine, Lithuania, etc, all have an interest in what is happening there.  Ukraine has already told Russia it may not allow Russia ships to use their ports.  The US is friendly with Georgia and has an interest to keep it free of Russian control.  So I think there will be a lot of interaction before it is over.
