Russian analyst on Russian Invasion To Georgia - what do you think about it?

at least one Russian who is broad minded, can think and alalyse things and is not afraid to say what he thinks..

Oh now I see why Georgia is ear-deep in its c**p; your president used this S**t-head Felgenhauer as advisor, didn’t he? You’d got the better to listen to another Pavel, i.e. Pavel Globa, who prophesized correctly Georgian future some 15 years ago!

-Who ever worked in Georgia?

-Women, Armenians, Abkhazians, Ossetians, Russians, Meskhi-Turks, Kurds, Greeks etc and never Georgian men!

You banished Turks and Greeks, you oppressed the rest of minorities and squeezed them out of the country; the most popular slogan is Georgia for Georgians! You set up hierarchy in Georgian society – Svanebi and Mingrelebi are despised by the rest of “noble” Georgian tribes;          

Russia sponsored Georgia for almost 300 years! Now you planned to hop off the lame Russian mule and saddle a strong Western horse. The Westerners are naïve and are ready to believe traitors as you are. But I do not want to be in the same Union with Georgia again. Please get the life and start pulling your own cart yourselves!

for sure they hold a huge grudge cause of all the land the lost after the fall of USSR

if you ask them UK Belrose and Caucasus region and much of asia still belongs to them

much like Germany took 20yrs to rebuild there n**i party Russia is on there way to revenge mark my words

they use the excuse "protecting russian minoritys in other nations" yea right half the people you kille where the ones you say you protect.....its only a matter of time befor Russia occupies Belrose (since they are the poorest and last Dictatorship is europe) much like the same way Germany occupied Austria

the west needs to wake up and act know start puttin defence systems in UK Romania  Finland Hungary and Bulgaria

put the sqweeze on Russia so they know they aint as big as they want people to think

Felgenhauer is actually a former biologist turned journalist and "military expert".  Among other things he predicted (before the start of the conflict) that the us trained and equippped georgian army would defeat the russian military.  He continues in the similar vein.  His views are known and are often way off mainstream and he is not taken particularly seriously.  yet, he is certainly entitled to the right to have his opinions, quite similarly to like some Americans are entitled to the right of having extreme left wing and right wing views.  Still, with all due (and sincere) respect to biologists I say that they should limit their analysis to their field of expertise, i.e. biology, and leave political and military analysis to the professionals in the respective fields.

On another count I find it very funny that you ask every russian to read something that, as you apparently believe, contains some kind of truth concealed from the russian people by the "evil putin's regime".  Have you ever thought that russians present on yahoo answers are able to gather information from a variety of sources including russian sources, georgian sources in the russian language as well as the english language sources.  Can you read in russian?  If you cannot then your sources from which you can draw information to form your own opinion on the issue are very limited.  Also, you made me curious about yourself.  Why do you have such a strong interest in Russia?

Yes,Georgia planned it long ago,two years ago they wanted do this how ex military minister of war Okruashvili said,Russia every summer when Georgia starts shooting of South Osetia starting military operations in North Osetia as big show for big Saakashvili's mouth,cos Russia knew that Georgia will attack them in some day and had a plan,Abkhazia used situation and kicked out military of Georgia from Kodori where they had weapon which censored by UN,there was OSCE,but thet watched blind on that...so do you watch Osoboye Mnenie on RTVI? What they says? Just Georgian agression!
