My grandfather's Russian letters have a brother mentioned with the name of TYMOKIJ. Does anyone know if Tymokij has an English equivalent? Perhaps Thomas or Timothy?

  1. I speak flueant Russian. But its hard to tell if its not written in russian. if u can, send me the russian letters and i'll translate

  2. unless you have miss translated the russian letters, Tymokij is not really a russian name. More like mongolian or kazah. These regions are often russian-speaking however so it is is quite possible your grandfather had correspondence with someone from there.
