    here's the link.

I hope not. Most places r usually covered by health and safety and r usually well run.

  2. They used the lasers on too high a power indoors when it rained. Hope they're not stupid enough to do the same thing here..

  3. Such a shame for those Russian ravers.

People bang on about health and safety at these raves in the UK  but they are in place for a reason so as to prevent this sort of accident happening in the UK.

Just as an added precaution I would always check out the venue before buying a ticket to any rave as what HS measures are in place.

Call me over cautious but better to safe than sorry.

Enjoy your raves but be ever vigilant.

  4. Lasers are dangerous and if they're used incorrectly (apparently in Russia they were reflected off some sheeting) they can blind people.

  5. Do they still have "Raves" in the UK or are you just in a 1990's time warp?

I would imagine the rays on British lasers are below the safety level, as would the rest of Europe be.... You know what we are like for a compo claim, there is no way any "rave" organisers would risk it.

  6. If they're the same lasers then I'd say there is a chance.  Lasers don't suddenly stop making people blind just cos they're not in Russia.

  7. Those lasers at the russian rave were probably left over from the former soviet 'star wars' defense network.

Sasha> Proper compliant me. lol x

  8. Of course it could happen anything's possible.

  9. The lasers they used in Russia where high power and designed for outside use, but were used inside.

In the UK there are no regulatory bodies that govern the use of lasers, but there are Health and Safety laws that govern how they should be used and the design of the laser.

Provided the laser show people know what they are doing there shouldn't be any problem...

  10. it's possible but the uk has higher safety standards than russia

  11. blinded from the lasers, deafened from the 'music' and disabled from the 'dancing'.

    Sad.

  12. they used an outdoor laser in an enclosed area and the laser bounced around inside. They did it because it was raining. People on drugs are not the brightest when their plans hit a snag.
