  1. All the enamel jewels ( phinipht ) from Rostov Vieliki - very beautiful

All the amber jewels ( iantar ) from northern seas

All the embroideries and woman's wool  schals

All the soviet watches such as Poljot - Sturmanski - Raketa itd

All the Zorkii cameras perfect imitations of Leica

All the podtchaitchiki - glass combined with metal for tea - supposed to have been stolen to the JD - russian railways

All the commemorative or patriotic pins which you can find in national medals and money authority agencies ( the one in Peter is located on Petropavlovsk Zamok )

All the mechanical cyrillic typewriters -

  2. -Palekh miniatures (usually lacquer boxes)

-Khokhloma (wooden spoons, plates, cups with designs drawn on them in black, gold, and red)

-Gzhel (ceramics painted in a characteristic white & blue color scheme)

-Zhostovo trays (black background with beautiful flowers or fruits in the foreground) - these should not be used for practical reasons (serving food). They are to be treated as art (you'll pay accordingly...). The reason I'm telling you this is because I gave a friend one of these and was unpleasantly surprised when she served chips and salsa on it.

-A samovar from Tula (a samovar is used to brew tea, and traditionally it is said that Tula is the homeland of the samovar. Nowadays they have really fancy souveneir versions with all sorts of embellishments)

-Lapti (shoes made from birch bark)

    -Valenki (felt boots)

-Ushanka - if you want to be really stereotypical. It's basically a hat with earflaps. You can get a nice one with mink fur.

And yes Винни Пух is the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh. Personally I find our cartoon to be a lot more relatable and funny then the "high fructose corn syrup" Disney version.

  3. Are you russian? Just curyous. You can collect russian dolls made of bristle thats wat my mom has

  4. Russian liquor & beer, if you're too young you can have your parents drink it and give you the bottles. Baltika #9 tastes just like CCCP

    LOLSHTO

  5. I am Russian also, and here are some of my ideas:

    Khokhloma

    a Samovar

Certain Russian clothing, like Kosovorotka shirts

    Russian Kitchen Aprons

    Kokoshnik head-dresses

Amber Jewelry (Amber from Lithuania is better quality, but amber from Russian is still good. And they're both in the USSR [CCCP])

    Birch Boxes

    Russian Money (Roubles and Kopeks)

And, yes Винни Пооx is the Russian Winny the Pooh. It is roughly pronounced Vinni Pookh. You can see the relationship to Whinny the Pooh.
