Rusty wheels on bike? please help!!?

the wheels on my bike got really rusty

i tried scrubbing the rust off with vinegar and baking soda which worked ok but there is still some rust and it took a long time and a lot of work

is there anything that is easier?

preferably a household item...

oh and the bike works perfectly fine i just dont like the rust

Try rubbing the wheel with a medium - fine grade of steel wool.  You can get it at any hardware store.
