Rustys Bar likely to prevail in Williamhill.com Stakes
Rustys Bar is likely to dominate proceedings in the Tony Williamhill.com Stakes at Newcastle in England on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. The prize money for the Grade A1 event has been set as £118.
The 480 metres flat race will start at 12:42 GMT and six quality hounds had initially lined up for action. Their names are: Rustys Bar, Shilohs Diamond, Sunoak Rhea, Lil Ranger, Sugarland Rumble and Killer Heels.
However, there is a doubt over the participation of Lil Ranger, who did not have very good odds for winning the race today. He is an experienced runner, but has been out of form over the past few months, thus the punters would not have been interested
in risking money on him.
The race favourite dog, Rustys Bar, has been in decent form over the past few months and is expected to be highly competitive at Newcastle today. He has been performing consistently well over the past many months and seems to be in great shape right
now.
R. Kirk’s trained dog took part in a trial run recently and managed to finish on top of the table. He has also taken part in quite a few races in this class and has proved to be one of the best in the business.
Rustys Bar is the son of Ballymac Kewell out of Rustys Rachel and was born in October 2008.
Another runner, who can win the race today, is Shilohs Diamond. She has been delivering some consistent results over the past few races, but might find things a touch difficult at this level.
T. Edgar’s trainee finished first in her most recent outing. She was the favourite for that event and lived up to the expectations of her team. The white and black b***h is the daughter of Bruce Ali out of Shiloh Princess and was born in November 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Sunoak Rhea will also be fighting for victory, as she appears to be in good rhythm at the moment. She has won a couple of races in her past five appearances, thus the bettors will be risking some money on her as well.
Although the race will be quite interesting, it will be hard for anyone to match the speed of Rustys Bar, who is in superb form at the moment.
