I have a Ruud brand hot water heater. About a month ago, I noticed a small trail of water coming from the bottom of it and leading out of the garage (a very small trail). I opened up the two little panels on it and the top one had alot of water in it. I thoroughly checked the outside of the heater and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. We were leaving for a cruise the next day so I just turned off the valve to it and shut off the breakers to it at the box.When I came home a week or so later, I turned it all back on. It's been 2 weeks now and there is no leak and it "seems" to be working ok.Should I replace it or is there an explanation for why it was leaking water?(sorry this is under air conditioners, but I counldn't find HWH in any of the lists)
