Monday our a/c stopped working. We have tired the simple solutions like removing batteries from the thermostat, reset the unit using the switch on it and the circuit breaker. Nothing seems to work and we can't get any relief by opening the window because the air in south florida is humid and still. Please give me some advice on what I can possibly check myself, because calling a technician is financially not possible right now.
