“If you want to come to Lyon this summer, there are no problems.” By giving this small statement directed towards Algerian international Ryad Boudebouz, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 president, Jean-Michel Aulas has indicated that he wants to bring in atleast one big
player to the club this summer.
Marvin Martin and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryad-Boudebouz-c31970 have been heavily linked with moves away from Sochaux since last summer. Though the duo chose to stay at the club, the current situation of Les Lionceaux means that they are bound to leave.
While talking to Le Buteur, Boudebouz admitted that it was an honour to be asked by a club of Lyon’s stature to join them. However, the youngster says that he will make a decision on his future after the campaign ends.
“It is undeniable that it is an honour to be asked by a club like Lyon, one of the best in Ligue 1 in recent years. However, there has been no formal offer made to Sochaux. Moreover, it is really not the time to transfer talk. When I see where Sochaux is
at the moment, then where I am myself, I don’t really think about a transfer.”
The youngster then added that he has a professional duty to his club and he is solely focused on helping his club avoid the drop. For now, nothing can divert Boudebouz off his path and the youngster has reassured supporters that he is still committed to
his club’s cause.
However, regardless of where Sochaux play next season, Boudebouz and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and Newcastle
United as well which means that Les Gones would face a fight on their hands in a bid to bring the talented midfielder to the Stade de Gerland.
The prospect of playing under Remi Garde might influence Boudebouz’s decision which means that one can’t rule out the possibility of him joining Lyon.
