Ryan Babel goes to Hoffenheim
Liverpool left winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Babel-c31971 is all set to join the Bundesliga side Hoffenheim after The Reds affirmed a bid from the German club.
The midfielder has now travelled to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 on special permission to discuss personal terms with Hoffenheim.
Babel was initially planning on returning to his former club Ajax on loan. Supporting his decision, he reckoned this move would also help Liverpool formulate a deal for the potential transfer, Luis Suarez. He showed keen interest in his return to the club
saying he would even consider a transfer even if they pay him less.
Despite his initial plans, the winger is certainly heading to Germany to join Hoffe, as a newspaper reported that a 7 million Euro deal has been confirmed for his transfer.
"Following the departure of Ba and the injury to Obasi, we were in an emergency situation", Hoffenheim's owner, Dietmar Hopp, said. "Babel was one of the prime candidates who our general manager, Ernst Tanner, was most convinced about".
Ryan Babel started his career as a youngster with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AFC-Ajax-c38228 in 1998. The midfielder’s professional contract was signed in 2004 with Ajax and in 73 appearances he scored 14 goals in 3 years for the club.
Babel gave a lot to the club and performed consistently over the years. His ability to play as a midfielder and as well as a striker makes him a versatile player and earned him a lot of fame and attention from other clubs.

This move to Germany on the other hand gives a new hope to build up the career of the winger. German Bundesliga is known to cater to youngsters much better than other European leagues and Babel has a bright chance of regaining his fame, and he can develop
into a much more mature and professional player in coming days.
Ryan Babel is a player with great potential but time at the English club wasn’t the best for him. Over the years he has been inconsistent with his performance and has been seen struggling for a place in the first team.
He was on and off the substitute bench not getting much time on the field. The left winger is expected to make his debut in Bundesliga against St Pauli as the deal is expected to go through in coming days.
