The Hoffenheim striker is forced to consider his future in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 after his side’s humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich on Saturday.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Babel-c31971 has revealed that he might part ways with Hoffenheim at the end of this campaign. The attacker was talking in the wake of his side’s 7-1 loss to the Munich giants on Saturday, March 10. He opined that Hoffenheim are
an average side and it is extremely hard to win silverware with such a young and inexperienced unit.
The former Liverpool striker admitted that there are a few things he needs to work upon in order to further improve his skills. The player mentioned that he is pleased with the fact that Hoffenheim provide him with enough first
team opportunities.
Babel insisted that the manager has set a few targets at the club this season and the priority would be to avoid relegation at the end of the campaign.
"I do think I have a thing or two to improve myself although it is difficult to reach your full potential at an average team. At the moment I'm very happy at Hoffenheim. I have a lot to do here and we have a few more targets this
season that we want to achieve. I hope we achieve them before I then think about my future."
When asked about his stints at Liverpool and Ajax, Babel commented that there is a vast difference between the three clubs. He mentioned that a player almost gets used to winning games while playing for clubs such as Liverpool
and Ajax but admitted that the situation is completely contrasting in Germany.
"Of course I think back sometimes as I was always used to winning every game. With Ajax and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, you win about 80 per cent of matches. Now I'm in a different situation. This is about survival and sometimes this is very difficult,”
Babel concluded.
The striker has had an average campaign so far in Germany since joining from Liverpool in 2011. He has made a total of 37 league appearances, bagging five goals during the process. The striker has scored four goals from 22 appearances
this season for Hoffenheim.
