Ryan Braun booed by Los Angeles Angels’ fans in his first Cactus League road game – MLB News
The Milwaukee Brewers’ infielder and recently freed from the charges of Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED), Ryan Braun is once again making some news when he played his first Arizona’s Cactus League road game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim receiving
many boos from the crowd.
"In this game — or in life — if anybody can find a negative, they love to take advantage of it," Angels’ outfielder Vernon Wells said. "In this society, we've gotten to the point where the negative is glorified. It's unfortunate."
Wells added, "Any time your name is associated with it, you'll hear about it. You know that coming in. When something like that goes public, you'll hear about it the rest of your career. I think he'll be one of those guys that can deal with it. Being that
this is the first year, he's going to get an earful.”
As soon as Braun stepped-on the field, the crowd started booing and loudly condemned his entry in the batter’s box giving him slight idea on cheating the system. Though Braun has been waived from all the charges of PED by the Major League authorities saying
his samples were mishandled by the carrier causing some-kind of a chemical reaction which maximised the level of testosterone in his urine, but still many and those with enormous amount of baseball knowledge, do not believe and do not accept the late verdict
of MLB arbitrators and still believe as Braun certainly was the culprit and should have been punished.
The current National League’s Most Valuable Player award holder Ryan Braun also knows why he is now being booed by the baseball lovers around US. He might have not issued any statement regarding this booing incident, but his close ones are reporting in the
media that Braun has felt bad about this attitude of general public.
To many, this booing incident is also an inspirational and learning experience for all the other Major League professionals, who somewhat or at some stage of their careers, think to use or experience these Performance Enhancing Drugs in order to increase
their performances.
