The Milwaukee Brewers' Ryan Braun seems all excited to appear in the All-Star Game. But what fills him with more excitement is to see his former team-mate Prince Fielder who is now a part of Detroit Tigers in the American League.
Ryan Braun who once again made it to the All-Star Game this year will, for the first time, play against first baseman Prince Fielder. Braun, an All-Star and slugger – ranked among 50 greatest current players of baseball, is impressed and holds immense respect for Prince Fielder.
"He's had a lot of success in Home Run Derbies," said Braun of his former team-mate Prince Fielder. "He obviously hits a lot of home runs every season, but he's kind of a veteran of the Home Run Derby now. I think he's becoming like the Griffey of our generation, a guy that seems like he's in it every year and has a chance to win it every year. It seems like he has a solid strategy."
To be played at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City on July 10, the All-Star Game will feature the best players in baseball. The All-Star Game, nonetheless, will also be closely followed due to the presence of two former team-mates – Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder.
