Ryan Giggs believes Manchester United will edge past City
Manchester United midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Giggs-c31985 believes that the Red Devils will edge past Manchester City in the title race for the Premier League crown, mainly due to the superior experience that the team possesses.
Giggs has placed his faith in his team and believes that despite City being as good as they are, they just don’t have the mentality or the spirit that the Red Devils possess and this is going to help the Red side of Manchester come out on top of the Blue
half.
The midfielder, when talking about the superior experience of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson and his team mates is quoted to have said: “The experience that the manager, the players and the coaching staff have of what's required in the second half of the season, as well
as the overall hunger and desire to win competitions, will help us”
Giggs then went on to admit that United and City have both had an unfortunate run in the Champions League, but they will both be looking to go out and prove their worth in the league.
However, he believes that United’s desire is going to help them match the strong start that City made to the season and in turn would help them catch up to their opponents.
“It's been a strong start from us”
“Obviously City have got off to a better start but we're pleased with where we are in the table and especially the form in the moment."
Giggs then went on to focus on the importance of kicking off the second half of the season with a bang, as he added:
“We'll just look to kick on as we always do in the second half of the season and hopefully we'll have a bit more luck with injuries and have a strong run after Christmas."
United are currently level on points with City in the Premier League and the only thing that is separating the two teams is their goal difference. Should United manage to maintain the form they have shown in the last few weeks, they could easily go on and
overturn the goal difference and return to the top of the Premier league table, where they belong.
