against London clubs in the Premier League...
Ryan Giggs has revealed that it was Manchester United’s form against the London clubs in the Premier League that allowed them to finish in the second place level on points with the league champions, Manchester City. Giggs played
a large role in United’s league campaign once again in the 2011-2012 season as the Red Devils kept pace with Manchester City for a large part of their league campaign.
At one point, United had an eight point advantage but they blew that away thanks to lacklustre performances against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043, Wigan Athletic and Manchester City. United’s point tally was a respectable in the end but not enough to
surpass Manchester City. In fact it was their lack of high scoring wins that was their downfall in the end as the league title was decided on goal difference.
Giggs said, "As a team performance you've got to look at the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 game when you’re talking about highlights. To score eight goals against a team that has been one of our biggest rivals for so many years is something special.
Our form in London – I think we won nearly every game there apart from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 – was very pleasing."
It was Manchester United’s match against Chelsea that was their only draw in London and the enthralling match at Stamford Bridge ended with 3-3 score line as United came back two score two late goals after trailing the home side
by 3-1.
Giggs further added, "Again, that was against one of our rivals from the last few years, and at Stamford Bridge where we haven’t had a good record over the last 10 years.”  Giggs has already signed a contact extensive to stay at
Manchester United for another year but it is widely believed that the next season will be his last one with the Red Devils as Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson aims to challenge Manchester City in the Premier League with a young squad.
