Ryan Harris and Doug Bollinger get their names in the 13-man squad for the Adelaide Test

After finishing up the opening Ashes Test at Gabba in a disappointing draw, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 is now gearing up for the Adelaide Test by once again threatening its players with a fear of axing. Prior to the Gabba Test, it was the spin department
that was being harassed by the skipper and the selectors after naming 4 spinners in the probables’ squad, but this time, the players being threatened are the pacers Mitchell Johnson and Ben Hilfenhaus as Ryan Harris and Doug Bollinger have been added to the
second Test squad.
"I don't think anyone is certain yet," said the Australian skipper Ricky Ponting. "The fact we have brought two fast bowlers in, I'm not sure if anyone is certain."
Ryan Harris, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 pacer, along with fellow seamer, Doug Bollinger have been included into the 13-man squad for the second Ashes Test which starts in Adelaide on 3rd of December. Both the fast bowlers were named
in the inflated Ashes’ opener squad before being left behind due to some fitness issues.
Harris was cut because of lack of international matches as he had only just returned from a chronic knee injury which he picked up during the England tour, earlier this year. The injury sent him home ahead of the neutral venue series
against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 in July. But his recent performance in the Ryobi One-Day Cup and Sheffield Shield tournament earned him selector’s nod for the second Ashes Test. In the one-day game for Bulls, the pacer picked up four wickets followed by his six-wicket haul
against the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Victoria-c859 Bushrangers in a Sheffield Shield clash that ended today.
Ponting backed Harris’s selection saying: "There's a lot to like about Ryan," Ponting said. "The fact he's had great success at international cricket, he's one of the guys just meant to be playing."
Bollinger was also overlooked by the selectors because of lack of bowling since he picked up an abdominal muscular strain in the opening Test during the tour. Siddle was drafted into the side as Bollinger’s replacement and the decision
remained controversial until Siddle claimed his career best figures of 6 for 54 on the opening day of Gabba Test, including a hat-trick as well.
Johnson, who went wicket-less for the first time in any Test since making his debut in November 2007, was the most disappointing bowler in the Australian attack. He has never been out from a Test squad since then but proved to be the most vulnerable amongst
the home bowlers. The skipper Ponting also opined that the 29-year-old left-arm pacer "was not at his best".
